Applebee's Hackensack NJ worst service!!!!!! - Applebee's hackensack
I visited this establishment on September 1st around 1:30pm with my parents and two children for lunch. What a mistake! It has to be one of my worst dining experiences to date. It started pretty decent with our waitress taking our order and bringing our drinks. There after our appetizer was brought over with no plates. It was only minutes after that she returned with some plates. By then we were well into the starters. As we waited our waitress seemed eager to take our appetizer dish away which made no sense considering that we were still working on it. I found it very odd that my fathers entree arrived before the rest of ours. She then proceeded to tell us that ours will be out shortly. Now as a wife to an executive chef I know that meals do not come to the table until all the orders of the table are fulfilled. After waiting for several minutes my mothers and my children's meals are served. The waitress apologetically advised me that my dish had to be remade. This only made me more irate. So my dad is done with his meal and I have yet to receive mine. After all were done with their meals my dish finally arrives. Not only was it not what I ordered but I am now left to eat alone at the table. She offered to change it but I seriously was not going to wait another half hour for food. When it was all said and done it took forever to pay the bill which she took 10 dollars off for the error on my dish. The front house manager approached us to ask how was our experience. When I told her she was more focused on blaming the waitress and not acknowledging the overall experience. Her solution was to offer free dessert. I decline this offer as this was a joke to me. I will never return to this establishment. It's a shame that we had to pay 64 dollars for poor service and average food!
